I AM an open book, I have nothing to hide

But My glory is concealed from those who don’t try

There’s no shifting shadow within Me, I AM the Light

But they love the darkness and hide in the night

They say, “I believe in God, I’m a good person”

But they created an idol-god of their own version

I knock and knock at the door of their heart

But they keep Me locked out so I must depart

A soul churning in trauma, I long to make new

But on that day I’ll declare, “you I never knew.”

Proverbs 25:2 – “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,

But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”

James 1:17 – “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”

John 3:19 – “And here is the basis for their judgment: The Light of God has now come into the world, but the people loved darkness more than the Light, because they want the darkness to conceal their evil.”

James 2:19 – “You can believe all you want that there is one true God, that’s wonderful! But even the demons know this and tremble with fear before him, yet they’re unchanged—they remain demons.”

Matthew 7:21-23 – “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
